RESIDENTIAL MOWING COSTS
Residential mowing in 2016 starts at $38.50 per cutting for a lawn under 5000sf. Our average residential lawn is probably in the mid forties per cutting but there is a great range. Contact us and we would be happy to provide you with a quote. Lawn mowing quotes are free. Most quotes are provided by Don. Don founded Affordable Lawn and Home Care in 1985 and is the father of Dan (current owner). During the spring season we can usually provide a quote for lawn mowing within 24-48 hours. Maintenance Work Costs
Landscaping maintenance projects may include clean ups, bush trimming, weeding etc. Work may be done hourly or at a quoted rate. When work is done on an hourly basis it is usually charged at $38.50/hr + disposal costs if necessary. (2016 prices). Our minimum charge to work hourly is three hours (unless we are already there for something else. Local quotes can be provided at no cost. The minimum quote will be for six hours of work. Landscaping Installation Costs
Landscaping installation jobs are typically quoted on a per job basis. The price quoted will reflect an hourly per person cost and may include, materials costs, disposal costs, equipment costs etc. Our per person rate begins at $38.50 but can be higher depending on the nature of the work. Please Contact us and we would be happy to provide a free quote. We've found that the cost which surprises people is the disposal cost. It's expensive to throw things away in Dupage county! We are always on the look out, however, for the best disposal rates and we always dispose of waste in an environmentally responsible fashion, recycling everything that we can.
